JIRIBAM, January 19: A ten day inservice teachers’ training program for upper primary and primary teachers concluded today at the auditorium hall of the Jiribam Government Higher Secondary School.The program, which was organized by the SSA Jiribam and inaugurated on January 10 was attended by around 125 teachers from over 80 Upper primary and primary schools.
HU Khan, District Coordinator, Pedalogy, SSA Jiribam Block in his key note address expressed that the Right to information Act, 2009 has a provision that children should be provided with quality education, and the upper primary and primary teachers should provide quality education to the children.
Ch Sunamani Singh, DI, ZEO Jiribam said the teachers must have benefited from the training and now they should now strictly follow their duties with the sole aim of developing their students for a better tomorrow.
Th Ketuki Devi, ZEO, Jiribam also appealed to the school Principals who are also the chairs of the School Management Development Committee to be honest in their duties and in the utilization of the funds provided by the government.
Participation certificates were later distributed to the participating teachers.
