IMPHAL, Jan 8: According to a press release, the United People’s Front (UPF), Manipur will observe a re-consolidation day – `tasin khomjinjaba numit` on January 9, 2013, the day Meidingu Chinglen Nongdrenkhomba who brought independence to the state breathed his last. The UPF in its release has also appealed to the people to remember the views and role of the patriot in bringing about a new Manipur by rejoining the hill and valley separated by the Seven Years Devastation and seriously discuss to develop today’s politics, administration, economy and culture.
