IMPHAL, February 25: According to a press release from Manipur state Co-operative Union, an awareness programme on women empowerment and self help group in handloom and handicrafts sector was organised under the aegis of Manipur state Co-Operative Union on 23 February at Ayangleima community hall, Moirang. The programme was attended by Kiran katki, chairman of Institute of Co-Operative management (ICM), guwahati and member of Governing Council of National Co-Operative Union of India as Chief Guest, L Tompok Singh, Chaurman of Institute of Co-Operative Management (ICM), Imphal, L Tompok Singh as the President and Th. Dilipkumar Singh, Dr. KI Metei and M Thoiba as guests of honour.
