IMPHAL, Feb 28: The Mary Kom Regional Boxing Foundation has in a release extended gratitude to the Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh and his council of Ministers and the Government of Manipur as a whole for allotting 3.30 acres of land, No 21/109/2011-R for construction of infrastructure for the existing boxing academy of MC Mary Kom at National Games Village, Langol.
“My long cherished dream next to the Olympics is coming to reality and I am very grateful to Hon’ble CM Pabung O Ibobi Singh for his concern and his cabinets for kindly allotting a land to my Boxing Academy, which is yet to have its full-fledged shape. I believe this will be a great motivation to my students and sports person of this land to work harder and bring more laurels,” said a release quoting MC Mary Kom.
