IMPHAL, Feb 13: A statement of the SP Imphal East has said that on February 13 at about 9:45 am, a team of CDO/Imphal East under the supervision of M Rajen Singh, Addl SP (Ol`s), IE arrested three KCP (MC) cadres namely, Potsangbam Sanajaoba Singh (31) son of P Pishak Singh of Lamboikhul Makha Leikai; Huiningshungbam Rajesh Meitei ( 31) son of H Shamungou Meitei of Lamboikhul Makha Leikai and Sairem Rameshwor Singh (35) son of S Irabot Singh of Lamboikhul Awang Leikai from Ereima Lai Manak of Lamboikhul Mayai Leikai.
On verification, they stated that they were active members of KCP (MC) organization and they were involved in extortion of money from the Tata Magic Association of Uyumpok side, the general public, and govt. officials etc, it said.
