IMPHAL, Feb 11: The Navodya Vidyalaya Staff Association has initiated agitations against the policy of the Government of India in connection with the ceasework strike and various forms of agitations launched from February 6 by All India Navodya Vidyalaya Staff Association ( AINVSA) urging the central government to fulfill 21 point demands which include for provision of pension facilities to the staff recruited before 2004 under central civil service rule 1972, working hours for the staff for eight hours, appointment of required staff, Sundays and holidays to be enjoyed by the staff, provision of due allowances to non-teaching staff, framing of policy for service promotion of the staff through the holding of service promotion, pay structure on junior and senior basis, provide facilities of education to the children of the staff who met with the premature demise.
