IMPHAL, February 12: In a press conference held at Press Club today, Naorem Amina (33) of Kakching Mairi Sabal Leikai, wife of Nitin Masih (35) of Indooreida, Madhya Pradesh said that her husband who was abducted by some unidentified persons from Kakching on 24 November, 2012 has still not been found yet.
Naorem Amina informed that her husband was a X-ray technician at Mission Christian Hospital, Indore while she was herself a staff nurse at Appollo Hospital. They got married on 10 December, 2004 and have a five years old daughter. The three had come down to Manipur for Ningol Chakkouba along with her brother-in-law Nitin and his wife Shanti on 7 November 2012, she said.
She continued that her husband went to the field located near Kakching Lamkhai for harvest on 24 November and went missing. Adding that a case has been registered at the police department in connection with her husband being missing, Amina said that her husband`s whereabouts have not been known yet. She further called on the concerned to release her husband on sympathetic grounds and clarify why he has been abducted while appealing to civil bodies, organisations and NGOs to help find her husband.
