IMPHAL, February 9: Manipur has the highest varieties of orchids growing in a state as compared to other orchid plants growing in places such as Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, China and Arunachal Pradesh, said Rajr, okumar Kishore, an orchidologist and trustee of the Manipur Nature Society. He was speaking at the function of the 1st Salam Nabakumar Singh Memorial function held at MFDC hall today.
He further said that Manipur Nature Society is open for all who are interested to study more deeply about orchids.
