IMPHAL, Feb 23: A team of the Manipur State Commission for Women led by Dr L Ibetombi Devi, Chairperson and made up of June Rose Vaiphei, H Piteshwori Devi and S Meghachandra Sharma, Member Secretary made an inquiry at the residence of the minor girl who was found dead at Aow Khel Colony under Lahorijan Police Station, Dimapur Nagaland on February 18, said a press release of the MSCW.
The team expressed grief, sorrow and suffering and strongly condemned the inhuman act, said the release.
The Chairperson has also opined that she will refer this matter to the Nagaland State Commission for Women for further investigation and also to the National Commission for women for inquiry, it said.
