IMPHAL, Feb 13: Reacting to a daily news report about a reported physical assault by certain individuals using the name of the UNLF, the outfit has claimed in a press statement that cadres of the outfit were not involved in the incident.
It has further denied that the sister of one RK Tarzan is the wife of a captain of the outfit and also said that none of the outfit`s captains are presently lodged at Tihar jail.
Demanding a clarification from RK Tarzan and his supporters involved in the incident within three days, the statement said that in the case of failure on their part to do so, the outfit will hold them as responsible for damaging the reputation of the outfit.
