LAMKA, March 16: The HQ 27 sector Assam Riffle (AR), which stands for victorious Twenty Seven, today celebrated its ninth rising day attended by the Maj Gen KK Sinha, SM GOC Red Shield Division.
The raising day celebrations began with unveiling of a new memorial by Maj Gen K K Sinha, SM, GOC 57 Mountain Division, in memory of L/Nk Kailash Wagh of 107 Engineer Regiment, who laid down his life while successfully detecting IED on 26 Feb 13, Hav R Prasad and Rfn L N Deori of 39 AR who made the supreme sacrifice while fighting militants at Indo-Myanmar Border on 16 Jan 2012
On the occasion the pensioner of the district as well as the medias of Ccpur attended in full force.
