IMPHAL, March 15: The Dead bodies of the three persons who died while digging a well in Sekmai Nongdongban Makha Leikai under Sekmai police station have been handed over to their respective familes after conducting post mortem at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences today noon.
The three indentified as Maibam Boicha (20) son of Ibobi of Shamurou Nongmaithel ; Ngairakpam Apon (22) son of Gandhar of Wangoo at present Sekmaikon and Khongdram Surchandra (24) son of Raghumani of Laipat died while cleaning a well at the residence plot of Angom Nilamani of Sekmai Nongdongban at around 3.30 pm yesterday evening under Sekmai police station, Imphal West.
Missing Person who was found dead in a Imphal river was also handed over to the family member after the post mortem at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) morgue. Md Abdur Rahaman alias Kumar (39) son of Md Rahamad of Mayang Imphal Heibong Makhong Mayai Leikai was found dead in the Imphal River near Irong Litan under Mayang Imphal police station, Imphal West district by locals of the area.
Md Abdur Rahaman was reported missing from 11 March along with a Bajaj Pulser after he left his home for Mayang Imphal keithel.
