IMPHAL, Mar 20: Unidentified person hurled a hand grenade at the residence of Haobam Rajendro, Special contractor of the Public works department (PWD) today early morning at Singjamei Chingamakha Meisnam Leikai under Singjamei Police station, Imphal West.
The hand grenade was found by a family member at the courtyard of the Rajendro residential complex around 5.10 am, following which, the police were informed.
Singjamei police later came to the residence of Haobam Rajendro and picked up the hand grenade around 7 am.
