Manipur,IMPHAL, March 8: The management of Babina Healthcare and Hospitality Industries Private Limited inaugurated its Classic Hospitality Training Institute at Babina Diagnostic Building, RIMS Road, Imphal today.
Delivering the key-note address at the function, Dr Dhaballi, Managing Director of Babina Healthcare and Hospitality Industries Private Limited said the Institute was being opened with the primary objective of providing high calibre service professional in the hospitality sector in the state.
He further added that the Institute strives to train and prepare individuals not only to meet the industries standard but also to ensure employment in the job market.
The students are being facilitated and mentored by the experienced trainers who are certified by IndiaSkills under the aegis of Manipal Education (India) and City and Guilds (UK), he said.
Speaking at the function Mairembam Prithiviraj, Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS) and tourism said the Tourism Department will switch to a Tourism Development Corporation very soon and the Imphal Hotel will also be brought on the model of a Public Private Partnership (PPP).
He continued that the tourism department will be able to offer job to entrepreneur of the states.
