IMPHAL, March 14: A peerson who was missing since 11 March along with a two wheeler Bajaj Pulser bike was found dead in Imphal River near Irong Litan Maya today at around 11.30 am under Mayang Imphal Police station. The Imphal west police have picked up the body and sent it to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) morgue for the post mortem.
According to the police, Md Abdul Rahaman Alias Kumar (39) son of Md Rahamad Alias Apaba of Mayang Imphal Heibong Makhong was missing along with one Bajaj Pulzer from 11 March. The Bajaj Pulser registration number MN06-A / 3639 was recovered from the nearby area on 12 march where the dead body was found today. Locals of the area found the dead body floating in the Imphal River near the Irong Litan Maya.
