IMPHAL, March 6: At the opening day of the 4th Assembly session, the members of the House paid obituary reference on the demise of Thokchom Achouba Singh, former member who represented from Khangabok Assembly Constituency. While moving the obituary reference leader of the house, Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh stated his demise was a great lost to the state. He said Thokchom Achouba Singh was a renowned political figure who had sacrificed much for the state.
