LAMKA, March 2: The Rangkai Village Authority inaugurated a Primary Health Sub Center situated adjacent to the campus of the Rangkai Village Chief’s residence today.
Apart from the PHSC, a Community Hall was also inaugurated by Phungzathang Tonsing, Minister Health and Family Welfare, GAD & CADA, Manipur.
The Minister attended the functions as the Chief Guest. Speaking at the function, the Chief guest called upon the people to be more true to their selves and not take things for granted and show it in their conduct.
Ginsuanhau MLA of Singhat graced the function as functional President, Ram Muivah, Principal Secretary (H&FW) Govt. of Manipur graced as the Guest of honour while Jacintha Lalzarus Ccpur DC attended the program as the Chief host.
Binoy Singh, Director of Health Service Manipur, also attended the function as a guest.
Further speaking at the function, Health Minister Phungzathang Tonsing highlighted on the importance of shunning smoking which is widespread in the state and added that as per a cabinet decision, smoking will be banned from the state in the near future. He said, offenders will not be spared and dealt with as per the law.
