IMPHAL, March 14: A sit in protest was staged at Uripok Sinam leikai by local club members and the meira paibi of the area against the handing of a country made pistol to the residence of Akoijam Sarat (46) son of Kunjo an Executive Engineer of the Primary Health and Engineering Department (PHED) on March at around 6.30 pm under Imphal West police station
One local Meira paibi said that the group condemns the incident of and asked for peace.
