IMPHAL, March 6: A delegation of five members from Manipur led by Dr M Nara Singh former Minister and National Co-ordinator of Electoral Reforms in India (CERI) has left Imphal for participating in a National Level Workshop with MPs and leaders of different political parties beginning from March 6-8, 2013 at the Constitution Club, New Delhi.
The delegation comprises of Dr M Nara Singh, Maibam Dhanabir Meetei Executive Editor of Imphal Free Press, Dr Arambam Birjit Singh, a Scholar; K. Noren Singh, and Th. Baleswor Singh both Secretaries of AIYF, Manipur.
The 3 days Programme include MPs workshop on Electoral Reforms, release of a book on Electoral systems by Hamid Ansari, Vice-President of India and A.B. Bardhan, Veteran Communist leader and National Core Committee Meeting.
