IMPHAL, April 8: The 5th Annual Art Exhibition 2013 was inaugurated today at the State Art Gallery organized by the Arts Society Manipur.
Th Tombi Singh, National Akademi Awardee, Chairman Arts Society Manipur distributed A Jandhabi Devi Memoral Art Award and Arts Society Manipur Annual Art Award which was received by Loukrakpam Tarun Mangang, Henba Tensuba and Thoidingjam Lokeshwari Devi.
A Ojendro Meitei, secretary although group expedition art have been increasingly held ever since the establishment of the Art Society Manipur in 1972 and it is only in 2009 that competitive Arts Society Manipur Annual Art Exhibition took shape.
It aims at accelerating the intensity of creative among the practicing artist of Manipur at the Region. It is hope that it generates the spirit of expanding visual art awareness among the art fraternity.
