IMPHAL, April 20: The dead body of a male infant was found abandoned at the roadside leading to Khurkhul from Sekmai under Sekmai police station of Imphal West at around 8 a.m. According to a police source, the public of the area found the body and informed the police. The dead body of the male infant was picked up by the police and has been deposited at the RIMS morgue for post mortem examination.
