This unfortunate demise of Congress candidate had necessitated to adjourn the election of this 53 Tuensang Sadar I Assembly Constituency to March 23 next.
Son of former Nagaland Minister Changkok Chang, Toyang Changkok Chang, an Independent candidate, defeated his rival ruling NPF candidate L Elam Chang by a margin of 2272 votes.
