IMPHAL, April 2: A press release issued by the Umanglai Kanba Apunba Lup (UKAL) said that UKAL is closely looking into the Lai Haraoba ceremonies being held at localities and villages in the state so as to hold the ceremonies without breaking with traditions. It also appealed to organizers of Lai haraoba, and those participating in such observations including village elders, learned persons and all concerned to prevent Lai Haraoba places from getting converted to places where undesirable activities take place.
