IMPHAL, May 18: Dr Ng Bijoy, MLA of Khurai assembly constituency today inaugurated the Al-Umnah gym in a function held at Khabeisoi community hall today
On the occasion, Dr Ng Bijoy said that opening up such a gym in the area is a very good initiative and it will help the youth to develop their body fit. The Gym equipment can freshen up their minds and it will also help to keep the youths of the state free from drugs and alcohols, he said.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Md Abdul Karim Qasmi, Principal of Jamia Azizia Girl’s Islamic Institute, Khomidok Ipum Mapal; Md Badrur Rahaman, Zilla Parishad member Kairang Khomidok Imphal East; Md Chesabam Nurjaman, Pradhan Kairang Khomidok Gram Panchayat; Dr Ch. Pradeep Singh, Assistant Director of Sports, MU and RK Vishwajit founder of Animal Gym.
