IMPHAL, May 5: A Free Detection cum Awareness camp on Cervical and Breast Cancer was organized by the Lions Club of Leimarol, Imphal at Sielmat Hospital, Churachandpur on May 1, said a press release of the Lions Club. The awareness camp is part of an ongoing permanent project of the Lions Club of Leimarol, Imphal dedicated to the women of Manipur, it said and added that last year, such a camp was held at Ima Keithel at Imphal.
The camp was supported by Lions Club of Churachandpur Greater, John and Louwmi Pudaite, president of the Sielmat Hospital and altogether 272 women were examined, it said.
