She further said that her husband`s close friend MK. Winner (34), son of Ramsing of New Salem, Uhrul who lives at Harpham of Ukhrul town at present had gone with her husband after he was allegedly summoned by the NSCN (IM). She continued that the two friends went to the regional office of NSCN-IM located at Ukhrul. She maintained that they
were accompanied by two other Tangkhuls and a Meitei but MK Winner was released but they did not let her know her husband’s whereabouts. She herself appealed to the NSCN (IM)  to release her husband by meeting various men of NSCN-IM at regional office located at Ukhrul but he was not released, she continued. Modhubala also said that she came to know later that her husband, MK Winner and their accompanying companions had been detained at the NSCN (IM) regional office for 11 days and added that her husband’s Maruti Gypsy has been used at the camp located at Hebron, Dimapur. “But till date, neither the NSCN-IM nor the state government has clarified over the condition of my husband. I appeal to the public to extend their support to my appeal,” Modhubala said.
