IMPHAL, May 31: A press release from Superintendent of Police, Imphal West District, Manipur has said that Imphal West District Police (Sekmai Police) have detected particulars of the vehicle which was transporting, loading and unloading goods item and arrested the involved persons along with the vehicle today and also recovered 153 nos of cartoon boxes which were kept concealed in a rented room at Hatta Gulapati.
Details of the arrested persons and seized bus and recovery items are Md. Abdul Samad alias Khamba, 32, driver of the bus, son of (L) Md Abdul Salam of Mayang Imphal Bengoon, Md. Kora, 19, handyman of the bus, son of (L) Md. Pishak of Irong Makhaleikai, Md. Hesamuddin, 35, handvman of the bus son of (L) Md. Aku of Mayang Imphal Bengoon Awang Lelkai, a bus bearing Regn. No. MNO5/1173, and 153 nos. of cartoon boxes containing Lays and Kurkure. Investigation is in full swing, it informed.
