IMPHAL, May 29: Pioneer Academy at Palace Compound, Imphal organized a felicitation cum prize distribution function at its School Activities Hall and feted its students who came out with flying colours in the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination 2013 in Science stream.
N Chaoba Singh, retd ZEO Education (S) and Dr Hamom Nabachandra Singh, Chairman and Principal respectively of Pioneer Academy and Elangbam Chand, MLA Yaiskul AC were the dignitaries at the function.
N Chaoba Singh expressed gratitude to the students for their performance and wished them more and more success in their future endeavour. 228 students appeared from the Academy in the HSSLC exam 2013, 214 of them cleared it in first division and 4 in second division. The remaining 10 students came out in the compartmental category.
Ksh Bikramjit son of Dr Ksh Basantakumar of the Academy scored 468 out of total 500 marks in the exam. As a preparation for the said exam, a 3 months subject wise review class from 4 am to 4 pm was conducted at the Academy prior to the exam, the Chairman asserted.
