IMPHAL, May 8: A press release from the Department of Publicity of the Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) has clarified that Oinam Samananda @ Kaoba (30), son of Yaima of Tokpa Ching Sarik Konjin who is said to have been picked up by the Thoubal district police during their frisking and checking exercise on May 6 and one Amit Kumar (27) of Kakching district, presently of Loklafai village in Churachandpur district picked up by a combined team of 1/11 Gorkha Riffles and 27 AR on May 1 are not in any way related to the RPF or its army, the PLA.
