IMPHAL, June 11: A gymnastic coach of the Youth Affair and Sports (YAS) died after he fell down from the second floor of his Yaiskul Police Lane residence yesterday at around 5 pm. The coach identified as Keisham Ibopishak (57), son of (Late) Nabakeshor of Yaiskul Police lane under Imphal Police station Imphal West sustained head injuries and died on the spot.
His lifeless body was later handed over to family members after post mortem was conducted at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences Lamphel.
According to family members, the incident occurred at around 5 pm yesterday evening when the deceased went up to the second floor of his residence building to drain water collected on the second floor due to yesterday’s rain and fell down.
