IMPHAL, June 29: A hand grenade was found today at the residential gate of Wangjing Tata Magic Association general secretary Laishram Devkumar (40), of Lamding Nashikhong Ward No 3 in Thoubal district today.
According to a police source, the hand grenade was found today at around 2.30 pm at the residential gate of Laishram Devkumar who is also an SK oil dealer.
Locals of the area informed the police and the bomb was safely picked up and later exploded at Kadompokpi Lampak at around 3.30 pm today by the police.
