IMPHAL, June 12: According to Directorate of Information and Public Relation (DIPR) source, Autonomous District Council, Senapati today organised a two day handloom and handicraft exhibition at multipurpose community hall, Senapati. In the said function, the deputy commissioner of the district, P K Jhah IAS addressed the participants that all the artisans should keep in mind at the time of fabricating handloom and handicraft items/products to maintain cultural tradition and encourage them to find a place in their respective trade while maintained that Naga shawl has been a popular product.
Eat and save for a greener Senapati was the moto of the exhibition in which a number of twenty stalls were participated and funded by the Department Commerce and Industries, government of Manipur.
