IMPHAL, June 4: The joint undertaking of AJUCA and CDO Jiribam of horticulture awareness was today organised at the town hall, Jiribam. In the function, Mission Director Kh Ratan Singh, Jiribam Addt SP O Menjor Singh and AJUCA president L Shantikumar Meitei have adorned the function as chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.
In relation with this horticulture awareness, All Manipur Loumee Marup Jiribam Area Committee secretary was lamenting for destroying the abundantly producing lichi and cashew nut of Bidyanagar area in an attempt to construct stadium and criticising the planning of the government.
In today’s awareness programme, A Mobi Singh former AMWJU president was also speaking as resource person while AJUCA advisor M Maipak has made remarkable points in this regards. Saplings of coconut, cashew nut, limbu, lichi etc were distributed to the participants.
