IMPHAL, June 25: The Cultural Research Centre, Manipur has today issued a press release saying that a group of Manipur folklore team consisting of Prof. M Mani Meitei of Manipur University English department, Prof S Sanatombi, head of Manipuri Department, MU, Dr Ch Rajketan Singh, president cultural research centre and Assistant Professor, Kha Manipur College, Kakching and M Sadananda Singh, Research Scholar, Manipuri Department, MU has left Imphal for participating in the 16th Congress of the International Society for Folk Narrative Research at the University of Vilnius, Lithuania which will begin from June 25 to 30, 2013.
The same folklore team will also join the 11th Congress of the International Society for Ethnology and Folklore at the University of Tartu, Estonia which will begin from June 30 to July 4, 2013, it said.
