IMPHAL, June 14: The Manipur University has notified in a statement that applications on prescribed form are invited for admission in MA/MSc/MCom/MLIS/MCA (First Semester) in Adult Education, Anthropology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Application, Dance(Manipuri), English, Earth Science, Economics, Education, Forestry & Environmental Science, Geography, Hindi, History, Library & Information Sciences, Life Sciences, Linguistics, Manipuri, Mathematics, Mass Communication, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Sociology & Statistics for the academic section 2013-14.
Prescribed application form and-prospectus with detailed information will be available in the Cash Counter of the University w.e.f. June 19, 2013 on payment of Rs 4OO, Rs 200 in the case of ST/SC candidates, upto 1.30 p.m. on all working days or by sending a Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Manipur University payable at the SBI, MU Campus Branch, Canchipur, Imphal – 795003 along with a self addressed envelope of 28cmx15cm with postal stamp worth Rs. 20.
Application forms may also be available on Manipur University Website (www.manipuruniv.ac.in). In such case the applicant has to enclose in the application a bank draft of Rs. 400 (Rs.200 for ST/SC candidates), in favour of the Registrar, Manipur University payable at the SBI, MU Branch (Code No. 5320).
Applications complete in all respects will be received by the concerned P.G. Departments of the University up to the July 28, 2013 during office hours on all working days.
