IMPHAL, June 4: The All Manipur PWD Contractors Association today called a press conference at the Manipur Press Club alleging that the Chief Engineer of the Manipur State Rural Road Development Agency has allotted the tenders for Phase VIII of PMGSY.
Speaking to media persons, spokesperson Th Somendro has said that the bidding process for the said tenders should be replicated again.
Meanwhile, the Chief Engineers had already clarified through a press statement published by local dailies that the charges or irregularities in the bidding process are baseless and are being made by contractors who had failed qualify for the bidding process.
