IMPHAL, June 30: The RK Sanatomba Memorial Trust today held the distribution function of the RK Sanatomba Memorial Journalists Award, 2013 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy.
The award containing Rs 30000, certificate and a memento was conferred to Ranjit of Poknapam.
Speaking at the distribution function, social activist Thounaojam Iboyaima said journalism has grown over the years in the state.
With the developments that have been witnessed in the field, getting information has today become very easy, he said.
