IMPHAL, June 7: The Regional Branch Office of the State Bank of India was today inaugurated at Babupara by chief general manager, SBI NE Circle, Rajnish Kumar.
The bank also donated an ambulance to JNIMS hospital.
Speaking to media persons at the end of the function, chief general manager, SBI NE Circle, Rajnish Kumar said there are 17 regional offices of the bank in the entire NE region excluding Sikkim and there are further plans to open five more regional offices in Manipur.
“The idea is to provide e-banking facilities in the region”, he said.
Meanwhile, the ambulance was handed over to the JNIMS Director L Chandramani.
There is a need to think for the good of the society while doing business, he said while speaking about the ambulance donation.
