IMPHAL, June 25: The Frontal Organisation of Tamei (Tamei Students’ Union, Tamei Women Front, and Tamei H.Q. Youth Club) has today issued a press release saying that they had picketed the SDO Office from the June 24, 2013. The SDO of Tamei namely Bogen Singh had issued a residential/domicile Certificate to a non-resident of Tamei in the year 2010. The person called Caleb Injiangam Panmei is not a resident of Tamei, whereas the SDO had issued a residential/domicile certificate claiming that he is a residence of Tamei. So, the frontal organizations of Tamei had submitted an ultimatum to the DC, SDO and SDC to cancel the issued residential domicile certificate of Caleb Injiengam Panmei on or before June 23, 2013.
And since there is neither response nor cancellation of the bogus residential domicile certificate, the frontal organisations had taken up its own course of action/agitation accordingly.
And if the concern authorities do nothing further, the Joint Action Committee shall also take up further agitation.
