JAC threatens to launch agitations

IMPHAL, July 18: The JAC formed by the DPC faced candidates of Sericulture Inspector and Farm Overseers has threatened to launched agitations in case the government failed to show any positive response to announce the written test conducted on July 28 and 31 of 2012 for the appointment of the post of Inspectors and Farm Overseers.

Speaking to media persons today somewhere in Imphal, JAC secretary Guruaribam Basu said that the written exams were held in 2010 but it was re-conducted in 2012, however the government has failed to declare the results for the appointment of 20 posts of Inspectors and 23 posts of Farm Overseers.

He continued that the advertisement for the appointment of 81 posts including one post of System Engineer; two post each for Computer Engineer, Store Keeper and Electrician; 20 posts for Inspector and 23 posts for Farm Overseers was first issued on July 2, 2010.

While, the appointment process for post of system engineer, computer engineer, store keeper and electrician have already been completed, unfortunately, the appointment process for the posts of Inspector and Farm Overseers has been neglected till date, he said.

While appealing to all concerned to do the needful at the earliest, he said repeated appeals from the JAC has fallen on deaf ears.
