KANGPOKPI, July 19: Elderly persons who received their Old Age Pension amount today at SBI Kangpokpi Branch and local MLA Nemcha Kipgen today lauded Mother`s Union Kangpokpi AC for the generous contributions they have rendered for distributing the old age pension amount to the beneficiaries of Kangpokpi, Saitu and Saikul AC smoothly and on time.
A physically disabled person who has received his share of amount under IGDPS here today said that,”I have no word to thank Mother`s Union Kangpokpi AC. They have done everything for me to avail these facilities”.
Another elderly person who received her share of amount under MOAP here today at SBI Kangpokpi lauded the Mother`s Union saying that, ” an elderly person like me who is totally in the dark regarding the activities of Bank would not have easily open a bank account. But the Mother`s Union had helped me open my account and today I have the privilege to receive my share of the amount”.
Old Age Pension beneficiaries in respect of Kangpokpi AC have lauded the tremendous contributions of Mother`s Union Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency in helping them avail the opportunity to get their respective share of amount on time without any problems.
In the meantime, local MLA Nemcha Kipgen while lauding the numerous contributing of Mother`s Union Kpi AC said that,” Mother`s Union Kpi AC contributions towards various activities for smooth and speedy distribution of the Old Age Pension amount to the beneficiaries were enormous”, adding that it is their strong and passionate involvement in the activities of Bank and District Social Welfare Dept.that the distribution could be done on time smoothly and effectively.
Meanwhile, it may be mentioned that Kangpokpi MLA Nemcha Kipgen had inaugurated the distribution of Old Age Pension for beneficiaries of Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency at SBI Kangpokpi Branch yesterday after thorough verification by distributing the pension amount to some of the beneficiaries.
More than 200 beneficiaries received the pension amount yesterday.
The amount will be distributed in a phased manner till each and every beneficiary receive their pensions, said an official.
MLA Nemcha Kipgen inaugurated and distributed the old age pension amount to some elderly persons in the presence of District Social Welfare Officer N Usharani and SBI Kangpokpi Branch Manager Nikunja Singh besides Mother`s Union, Kangpokpi AC.
While speaking on the sideline of the distribution MLA Nemcha Kipgen had said, “Considering the importance of elderly persons in the constituency as well as to execute the distribution of Old Age Pension Scheme to the expectation of each and every beneficiaries, Mother`s Union, which has been formed to look after all round activities within the the constituency for speedy and all round development, as instructed worked collectively with the concerned department sincerely thereby making today`s distribution a success”.
The MLA also expresses her satisfaction over the collective efforts of Mother`s Union Kangpokpi AC, SBI Kangpokpi Branch as well as the District Social Welfare officials and staffs for the success of the distributions of Old Ag Pension in the constituency.
MLA Nemcha Kipgen had further stressed upon all the officers of Social Welfare Department, Bank staffs and members of Mother`s Union Kangpokpi AC to redouble their efforts and serve the needy elderly persons to their satisfaction.
Interestingly, Nehkhosong Singsit, 93, son of (L) Chungkhohen Singsit of Keithelmanbi Village is the oldest person to receive the Old Age Pension amount in Kangpokpi Assembly Constituency.
