IMPHAL, August 7: A 14 year old girl has been allegedly kidnapped by some unknown persons after she left home for school on August 1 around 10 am, police said.
Police identified the girl as Huidrom Roshibina Devi alias Ichal, daughter of H Dhiren Singh, of Wangoi Thiyam Leikai. She is a student of Brighter Career Academy, Wangoi.
A case has been registered at Wangoi police station after the family members of the girl reported the incident.
The Police has said that one Sanasam Momo (22), son of S Kumar Singh of Ithai Laikhong Leikai is involved in the kidnapping but said that it has no clue on the whereabouts of the missing girl.
Police have appealed for co-operation from the general public to find the girl.
