IMPHAL, August 10: Vehicular movement has commenced along the NH-2 post the conclusion of the bandh imposed along the highway by the Mao Council at Mao area.
Under CRPF escort, 3 LPG tankers with 45 oil tankers arrived today. Among the oil tankers, there are 20 diesel, 19 petrol and 3 kerosene tankers.
Meanwhile, the UNC in their demand has imposed another bandh, but 63 empty tankers were escorted out by CRPF today. They are deadlined to fill up from Numaligarh refinery and reach before midnight of August 11. It may be mentioned that post the UNC 48 hours bandh, the Kuki State Demand Committee has imposed another 48 bandh.
