IMPHAL, August 16: The All Manipur Bar Association today said in a press release that an extended Executive Meeting of AMBA along with the Representatives of the said Naharol Leishemba Club including the said three Office bearers was held on the August 14, 2013 at 3.30 pm in the office of AMBA under the Chairmanship of Kh Mani Singh, President, AMBA in connection with the alleged threat by the president, vice president and general secretary of the Nahrol Leishemba Club, Thangmeiband Sinam Leikai to advocate and member of AMBA H Gangarani Devi.
As per the said meeting, it has felt that there was some misunderstanding between the NLC and advocate H Gangarani Devi. After clarification from both sides and after minute discussion of the matter and under mediation of AMBA it has been agreed between Naharol Leishemba Club and H Gangarani Devi that Naharol Leishemba Club should withdraw any restriction against H Gangarani Devi and her family hence forth. That in pursuance there of H Gangarani Devi, advocate should withdraw the complaint filed against the president, vice president and general secretary of Naharol Leishemba Club henceforth, it said.
That with the above terms of understanding Naharol Leishemba Club and H Gangarani Devi, advocate to live peacefully with no further enmity and whatever be the dispute between the parties herein are hereby settled and compromised. The matter has been closed, it further said.
