AMRPSWA observes 8th Private School Day

IMPHAL, August 19; The All Manipur Recognized Private Schools’ Welfare Association today observed the 8th Private School Day Observation at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound Imphal.

The function was attended by Additional secretary (Eco&Stats /H&TE /SCERT /AE) Kh Raghumani Singh; president, All Manipur Recognized Private Schools’ Welfare Association Ph Landhoni Devi and Chairman, Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur Dr H Nabachandra Singh as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

The observation started with the offering of floral tributes to the founders of the association and the release of a souvenir.

Kh Raghumani Singh, speaking on the occasion appraised the govt on the needs for improvement of the private schools and to help them from every way possible.

He also added that private schools are the backbone of the state and has produced many remarkable students and successful individuals for the state.

Any aid needed from the govt side on any matter will be fulfilled only after a proposal is sent to the govt which will be discussed and fulfilled if reasonable, he said.

He also said that education policy and structure towards private school from the govt side will be discussed.

Admitting that the honorarium for the private school teachers is small though the workload is much more than that of the govt school teachers,  Kh Raghumani Singh also praised the talents of the private school teachers and their important role towards the state.

He concluded by saying that the govt will surely consider to give some incentives for the private schools so as to improve job oriented teaching systems.

The guest of honor Dr H Nabachandra Singh said that the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur from the side of the govt provides huge amount of incentives to the private schools.

Pointing out that Council Of Higher Secondary Education Manipur is working very hard for the welfare of the students, he added that all the suggestions and ideas from all experts and teachers will be heard and reasonable improvements will surely be discussed and entertained.
