IMPHAL, August 24: The recent bomb blasts at the CM’s bungalow and Route 39 restaurant have shown the weakness of the state security forces, claimed a statement of the PREPAK (Pro).
The statement signed by its assistant publicity and propaganda secretary Sunil M said the state security forces start acting only after attacks have been carried out towards the VIPS.
People of the state would have been very pleased if the state forces had arrested gangs, mafia, criminals etc who are responsible for drug trafficking and other social crimes like the way they have arrested the suspect involved in the CM’s bungalow and Route 39 blasts with prompt action, the statement said while charging that the state forces instead of arresting criminal have joined them in committing the crimes.
Giving an example, the statement further stated, it is known fact that many illegal drug consignments were seized from the Imphal Airport and for seizing the illegal drugs some officials have even lost their jobs.
The recent blast at the CM’s Bungalow at Babupara was to show the “arrogant state force” that there are many loopholes in the security arrangements of the so called highly secure zone and they can attack it anytime, the statement said.
