Following a minute deliberation, the meeting observed that although the Biometric Attendance System was formally inaugurated on June 5, 2013, the system was commissioned w.e.f July 25, 2013 as the process of registration was done in phase wise manner till July 24, 2013 vide Principal’s notification 2/Misc/2013 – DMC(Sc), dated 22nd July, 2013, it said.

The delay in the registration process was due the large number of faculties (Departments) and reopening of the College on July 20, 2013 only after the summer vacation, it expressed.

On the basis of this biometric installation process, the number of working days available for the month of July, 2013 is only 6 (six) days, which suggests that the maximum number of days (presents) in Biometric Machine could be only 6(six) days, it observed further.
