IMPHAL, August 16: A fire broke out yesterday around 7:40 pm at the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) office at Babupara opposite to Chief Minister’s Bungalow has burned down its store room to ashes.
Petrol and diesel which were to be distributed to the BSNL towers were stored in the store room which help spread the fire quickly.
Fire tenders put off the fire.
However, there was no official report of how the fire started or how much worth property was destroyed in the fire.
