IMPHAL, August 4: The Maoist Communist Party, Manipur has said in a press statement that the 12 hour general strike called by the outfit on August 5 has been called off.
The statement said that the outfit will never bring a deal with some monetary compensation.
The statement has further claimed that the Imphal Urban Co-operative Bank has urged for a one month time to clean up itself and as such, the outfit has decided to postpone all political and armed action against the bank for a month.
