IMPHAL, August 2: In the aftermath of the State Government not holding the State PMT despite the ruling of the Supreme Court that the exam should be held, the All Manipur MBBS/BDS 2013 Entrance Examination Parents/Guardians Association has convened a general body meeting today and resolved certain points, informed a press release.

It alleged that the government has been interfering into the MBBS/BDS 2013 Entrance Examination every year by selecting ‘15 students, near ones of the Chief Minister’ through declaration of results three times last year.

It continued that the public is aware that the govt by not allowing students to appear the exam for the current session and its apparent move to select students from the NEET common entrance test, has been deliberately trying to include 24 students of CM’s acquaintance into the merit list of the exam.

The association further said that there is an urgent need to expose and stop the blatant attempt of the government to save the career of the students who are seeking for admission to MBBS/BDS Entrance Examination 2013 adding that it is unlikely that the government would stop interfering into the examination process every year.

Saying that if the wrongdoings of the government led by the Chief Minister are not stopped, it said the slated State PMT exam would turn into Ibobi PMT while appealing to everyone to extend co-operation to it in going to the Supreme Court to seek justice into the matter.
